<B>1885 G$1 MS67 PCGS.</B></I> According to Garrett and Guth (2006): "Most of the coins that have been certified for the date are in the choice to gem Uncirculated range. There are surprisingly few superb MS-67 or better coins graded."<BR> Thick mint frost is seen over each side of this splendid gold dollar. The honey-gold and pale green coloration is particularly attractive. The sharp striking details include noticeable machine doubling on the obverse peripheral lettering.
