<B>1885-CC S$1 MS67 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-3, R.4. The mintmark is tilted left with the right C almost touching the wreath. This beautiful Superb Gem combines the desirability of a limited mintage (228,000 pieces) and the allure of the CC mintmark. The fully untoned surfaces glow with cartwheel luster and exhibit pinpoint striking definition on all of the design elements. A spindly die crack extends along the tops of UNITED STATES OF, and die chips are noted inside of both Cs in the mintmark.
