<B>1885-CC $20 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> An extremely bright and cheerful example of this consistently popular Carson City issue. The rarest CC-mint Double Eagle from the 1880s, the 1885-CC was produced to the extent of just 9,450 pieces. Most pieces entered circulation at the time of issue, and even the example in the Smithsonian Institution grades XF45, placing the presently offered example in very good company.
