<B>1885 50C PR64 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> The surfaces of this near-Gem appear to be untoned at first glance, but magnification reveals light speckled tan color on the obverse, and touches of the same palette at the reverse periphery. The field-motif contrast is excellent, and a well executed strike sharpens the design elements, except for minor softness on the centrils of the upper stars. Some unobtrusive handling marks just barely keep this lovely piece from full Gem classification.
