1884-S S$1 MS62 PCGS. As any Morgan dollar collector is aware, the 1883-S and 1884-S issues are (starting from the 1878-S and moving forward) the first two difficult S-mint coins in the series, with the 1884-S much more difficult of the two. While well-circulated examples abound, specimens of the 1884-S are elusive in any Mint State grade. The present piece offers silver-white surfaces with good cartwheel luster, although there are numerous small abrasions present, and a small luster graze on Liberty's jawline requires singular mention. The reverse is choice for the grade, however, with a decent strike compared to many examples of this issue. A nice piece that could offer significant value to some fortunate--and forthright--bidder.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
