<B>1884 S$1 MS67 PCGS.</B></I> With more than 14 million pieces struck, the 1884 is a common Morgan dollar in circulated grades. It becomes progressively more difficult to locate as one climbs the Mint State ladder. At the Superb Gem level it is rarely ever encountered, while finer pieces are virtually untouchable. PCGS has graded 29 pieces with a single coin in higher grade (12/06). This is an extraordinarily clean coin with booming cartwheel luster on blast white surfaces.
