Struck at the New Orleans Mint in 1884, this Morgan Silver Dollar is certified Brilliant Uncirculated by NGC and originates from the notable Olathe Dollar Hoard, a cache of U.S. Treasury-held coins released in pristine condition. The obverse features George T. Morgan's iconic Liberty profile crowned with agricultural motifs, encircled by thirteen stars and the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the year 1884 beneath. The reverse displays a boldly rendered eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. The "O" mintmark beneath the wreath denotes its origin from the New Orleans Mint. Encapsulated in a graded NGC slab for further preservation and authentication. Slab measures: 2.25"L x 0.25"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 38.1 mm.
