<B>1884-CC $1 MS66 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC.</B></I> The 1884-CC dollar in DMPL is readily available in Mint State grades, but starts to become scarce at the Premium Gem level. As of August 2007, NGC has seen only 39 specimens, and a mere three finer. The MS66 coin we present here displays sharply struck design elements, though the hair above Liberty's ear is soft. The deep mirror fields establish a strong contrast with the motifs. A touch or two of faint tan color visits Liberty's cheek and the lower left obverse quadrant, otherwise the coin can be considered brilliant.
