<B>1884 50C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> WB-102. Recut 4. A business strike-only die pairing, and one of only two, the other being the rare variant with the top of an errant 8 in the denticles beneath the 8 and 4. Most likely one of the first coins from the business strike dies (of which only 5,275 pieces were struck), the fields show significant brightness and reflectivity. The devices are also heavily frosted. Fully struck throughout. An exemplary 1884 half.
