David Bowers (2005) says of this issue, "Proofs are rare, but come on the market with some frequency, mostly the same coins changing hands." This PR62 Cameo displays pronounced field-motif contrast, and has sharply struck design elements. Numerous minuscule handling marks in the fields define the grade.
