<B>1883-S S$1 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> While the 1883-S has a considerable mintage of 6,250,000 pieces, the issue is far scarcer in better Mint State grades than any prior S-mint Morgan. Though this example displays a touch of softness at the hair above the ear and the peripheral elements, the vibrant luster and colorful patina make up for this minor deficiency.
