<B>1883-S S$1 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> The 1883-S has the status of a semi-key issue. It is the first really challenging S-mint in the Morgan dollar series. At the MS63 level this coin represents excellent value, as the next level is considerably higher in price. This is an obviously original example that has dusky russet obverse toning that deepens around the devices, complementing tinges of ice-blue, while the reverse is light silver-gray with an accent of golden-rose around the devices.
