<B>1883-O $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> Many, if not most, 1883-O dollars come flatly struck in the centers and possess unsatisfactory luster (David Bowers, 2005). This Superb Gem is an obvious exception, as the hair over Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast are sharply defined. Moreover, pleasing luster exudes from both sides. The untoned obverse gives way to light purple color on the reverse periphery. Close inspection reveals no marks worthy of note.
