<B>1883 G$1 MS68 NGC.</B></I> Only 10,800 business strikes were produced of this popular, late date issue. This is one of the finest examples known with only one finer at NGC. While the surfaces show incredible technical preservation, what distinguishes this coin from others in high grade is both the thick mint frost and incredible golden-rose and lilac patination that swirls around each side. Excellent definition graces the design features. An outstanding representative of this low mintage issue.
