<B>1883 G$1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> This is a frosty, highly lustrous Superb Gem with alluring rose-gold toning. Well struck, free of die clash marks, and virtually pristine on both sides. The mintage of gold dollars more than doubled in 1883, compared to the previous year, but examples from 1883 are seemingly no more common than other issues of the same period, according to Garrett and Guth (2006).
