<B>1883 Cal Gold Charm MS65 NGC.</B></I> Round, 0.25 gm. The obverse depicts a miner at work with pickaxe, set inside a circle surrounded by 17 nuggets with the date below. The reverse features a wreath, a large initial H, and the legend CAL GOLD CHARM. According to Mike Locke's calgoldcoin.com research website, "Presumably struck by Herman Brand of San Francisco ... on or about the date on the token.
