<B>1883-CC $20 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> Abundantly lustrous and well struck for the issue, this 1883-CC twenty has the eye appeal of a Mint State example. According to <I>Gold Coins of the Old West</B></I> by Doug Winter and Lawrence Cutler, this is variety 2-A (identifiable by a peculiar, small raised dot to the right of the 3 in the date). The authors state this variety is possibly less available than the other known variety of this popular date.
