1883 50C PR65 PCGS. The Philadelphia Mint was the only coinage facility that produced half dollars in 1883, and a minuscule total of 9,039 pieces was struck. A high grade survivor of the proof delivery (1,039 pieces), this coin displays a mix of color ranging from white to brown to cobalt-blue above somewhat reflective fields and mildly frosted motifs, particularly prominent on the reverse. Crisply struck, with every detail bold. A small indent on Liberty's cheek is mentioned for accuracy. Housed in a prior generation green label PCGS holder.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
