<B>1883 50C Hawaii Half Dollar MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The Hawaiian half dollar is also known as the Hapalua. Names for the other denominations include Umi Keneta for the dime, Hapaha for the quarter, and Akahi Dala for the dollar. The quarter and half dollar each depict King David Kalakaua on the obverse with the central shield from the Hawaii Coat of Arms on the reverse. The dollar shows the entire Coat of Arms. This piece is sharply struck with brilliant silver surfaces and satiny luster framed by splashes of russet and sea-green toning.
