<B>1883 3CN PR67 PCGS.</B></I> Delectable ice-blue, fuchsia, and lilac patina graces each side of this phenomenally patinated Superb Gem coin. The abnormally large proof mintage of 6,609 coins--considerably more than the business strike mintage--can be attributed to the last year of the Shield nickel, combined with the first year of the Liberty nickel in two varieties.
