<B>1883 25C Hawaii Quarter MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-8032. Normal Date. There is no evidence of any repunching in the date on this example. After the Hawaiian coinage was completed, five sets of original dies were defaced and sent to the Kingdom, now being held by the state archives in Honolulu. Hubs that were created by the engraving department in Philadelphia remain preserved at the Philadelphia Mint today. The obverse of this example has lovely lilac and gold toning while the reverse has deeper gold color with peripheral russet and blue.
