<B>1883 $2 1/2 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> Sharply struck with bright, semi-reflective fields and attractive green and pink-red coloration. Small marks and hairlines in the fields define the grade, in the absence of noticeable highpoint wear. A low mintage issue that is scarce to rare in all grades. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece for $6.00 from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s. Accompanied by a Guttag Brothers collector's envelope with notes: "No. 1020, $6.00, Unc."
