<B>1883 10C Hawaii Ten Cents MS65 PCGS.</B></I> This one-year type had a reported mintage of 250,000 pieces, but many were probably melted after Hawaii became a U.S. territory. There are approximately 220 examples currently graded in Mint State, by NGC and PCGS combined, but most of those are certified at levels below MS65. This piece is sharply struck with a layer of original champagne-gray and russet toning over each side. The sparkling surfaces are pristine.
