<B>1882-S S$1 MS68 NGC.</B></I> The 1882-S Morgan silver dollar is the last of the "easy" S-mint issues, as the difficult 1883-S and 1884-S issues directly follow. Although this issue is sometimes lumped together with the 1881-S, specimens of the 1882-S in the extreme high Mint State grades are considerably more elusive. The present coin offers untoned, silver-white surfaces that are essentially devoid of either contrast or distractions, with frosty, pristine devices throughout and radiant cartwheel luster.
