<B>1882-S $20 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> Large numbers of 1882-S double eagles, according to Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth (2006), "... were shipped around the world, mostly in bags. The typical coin has a number of abrasions." The yellow-gold surfaces of this MS61 specimen display pronounced prooflike characteristics when the coin is tilted beneath a light source. The minute bagmarks scattered over each side are not as ominous as might be expected for the MS61 grade designation. Impressively struck throughout.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
