<B>1882-CC $5 MS62 NGC.</B></I> Satin honey-gold luster is present on the obverse of this sharply detailed Mint State piece with similarly toned mint frost on the reverse. A few tiny spots and surface marks are consistent with the grade. This piece has exceptional aesthetic appeal, and it ranks among the finest known examples from a mintage of 82,817 coins. Nearly all pieces coined in 1882 must have entered circulation, as Mint State pieces at any numerical level are not often encountered. The total population of this issue by NGC and PCGS combined is just 11 coins graded MS62, with none finer.
