<B>1882 $3 MS64 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> Recut 2 in date. Breen-6396. The digit 2 is sharply recut with the initial position about 50% too high. This is a stunning near-Gem example of a rare, low-mintage issue. Just 1,500 business strikes were coined, alongside 76 proof examples. Mint State survivors are elusive, and prooflike pieces are highly desirable. This coin has fully mirrored fields with lovely greenish yellow-gold color.
