<B>1882<25C> MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Fully toned in waves of aquamarine, peach, and plum-red. Well struck throughout the major devices, although several stars are soft. Only 15,200 pieces were struck. The 1882 is part of a lengthy series of ultra-low mintage issues, probably because of Bland-Allison Act, which compelled mass production of silver dollars. Population: 18 in 66, 16 finer (9/06).
