<B>1882 10C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Eleven hundred dime proofs were reportedly struck in 1882. NGC and PCGS have graded a total of about 450 examples; fewer than 100 examples were assigned the Cameo designation, primarily between PR60 and PR65. Sharply struck, heavily frosted motifs on the Superb Proof Cameo offered in the present lot appear to float over deeply mirrored, glassy fields. Impeccably preserved surfaces are essentially color free. A truly splendid Cameo specimen!
