<B>1881 T$1 PR66 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> Only 960 coins were struck of the 1881 Trade dollar, all of which were proofs. There was considerable striking variability among those few coins with many pieces displaying weakness on Liberty's head and the upper stars. This is a well produced striking that shows complete definition in all areas. The mirrored surfaces flash brightly through the moderate golden-rose toning that covers most of each side, and the devices are set against the deeply reflective fields. Nearly free from post-striking impairments, this lovely coin is suggestive of an even higher grade.
