Fully struck on each side, the brilliant surfaces have a sheet of silvery luster that shimmers and sparkles and is uninterrupted by any noticeable abrasions. Natural purple-gray toning has formed around the outer border. It would well be that this handsome coin was struck by brand new dies before the die polish wore off in the normal production process.
