<B>1881 S$1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> Light gold toning visits this thoroughly lustrous and crisply struck silver dollar. Liberty's cheek is exceptionally free from marks, and the fields lack the usually encountered grazes. At the MS66 level, the high mintage 1881 is much scarcer than the low mintage 1881-CC, thanks to the GSA hoard of Carson City dollars.
