1881-O S$1 MS66 PCGS. A crescent of rainbow color on the reverse between 10 o'clock and 3 o'clock is the only toning on this otherwise brilliant Premium Gem example. The surfaces have frosty white-silver luster. It is sharply struck with only slight weakness in the usual locations, over the ear on the obverse and on the eagle's breast, the result of slightly improper die spacing, a problem that plagued the New Orleans Mint throughout its history. This piece is one of the finest existing 1881-O Morgan silver dollars, topping the PCGS population chart. Population: 11 in 66, 0 finer (3/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
