<B>1881-O $1 MS65 NGC. GSA Hoard.</B></I> NGC has only certified 47 examples of the 1881-O Morgan dollar as a part of the "GSA Hoard." Just three of those pieces, including this one, have been graded as Gems, with none finer (12/07). Still in its original hard plastic holder, as issued by the General Services Administration. This piece is lustrous and untoned, with shimmering white surfaces that are astonishingly well preserved for a coin that was almost certainly stored for many decades in a Mint bag, along with 999 others. All of the design elements are very sharply struck, including the hair detail just above Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> George T.
