<B>1881-CC $10 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> Well struck with bright, nearly full luster and lovely yellow-gold color. A slight degree of wear is noted on the hair detail behind Liberty's ear, and superficial marks are common on both sides. Garrett and Guth (2006) note that: "A shift in production from double eagles to eagles led to a new record output for this denomination at Carson City." That record production number was still a relatively slight 24,015 pieces.
