<B>1881 $5 MS65 NGC.</B></I> With the highest mintage of the Liberty Head series (5.7 million plus pieces), and over 12,000 examples seen by PCGS and NGC, the 1881 five dollar is readily available in all grades through near-Gem. MS65 and finer pieces are rare, however. Glowing peach-gold luster adorns this beautiful Gem example that features well impressed design elements. Some minor contact marks on each side prevent a higher grade.
