<B>1881 25C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1879 to 1888 period was one low business-strike quarter mintage at the Philadelphia Mint. Only 12,000 circulation-strike quarters were made in 1881. Hints of tan-gold color adhering to lovely mint-frost surfaces are barely discernible under magnification, and a sharp strike further heightens the coin's great eye appeal. A couple of inoffensive luster grazes preclude an even finer grade.
