<B>1881 25C MS65 NGC.</B></I> The 1881 quarter, from a mintage of 12,000 business strikes, becomes challenging in the better grades of Mint State. Highly lustrous surfaces on the current Gem display aquamarine and beige color on the obverse, and mauve on the reverse. The design elements are well defined, save for the usual flatness in some of the stars.
