<B>1881/0 $5 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> FS-005, Breen-6715. The date is repunched northwest with a noticeable spread, and remnants of the underdigit 0 bookend the final 1 in the date. More than 5.7 million 1881 half eagles were coined, but only one obverse die has an unmistakable overdate, and survivors are very scarce. The present sharply struck and lustrous piece has a splendid reverse and a few light obverse marks.
