<B>Winfield Scott Hancock: Scarce 1880 Campaign Ferrotype Stick Pin.</B></I> A diminutive portrait of the 1880 Democratic candidate with his name above. Silvered brass frame, original stickpin on reverse. This is a companion piece to the Garfield version also offered in this sale. Condition is choice but for some minor tarnish on the silver frame. The ferro itself is beautiful, although Hancock's portrait appears slightly out of register making it look more like an artist's conception than a photograph.
