Dr. Hesselgesser is a specialist in earlier Bust dollars, collecting by die variety, with an amazing collection posted on the PCGS Set Registry.<BR> Although 1880 is the highest production of any proof-only trade dollar, it is rarely seen in Gem condition and also rarely seen with cameo contrast. The combination makes for an outstanding opportunity. Both sides are brilliant with mirrored fields and lustrous devices, the obverse framed by peripheral gold toning.
