<B>1880 T$1 PR64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1880 is a proof-only issue with a mintage of 1,987 pieces, the highest in the Trade dollar series. A light coat of golden-tan and powder blue color rests on flashy surfaces. The design elements are virtually complete, which is unusual for the date where the upper stars and Liberty's head are normally weak.
