<B>1880-S S$1 MS68 NGC.</B></I> What a pleasure it is to gaze upon the almost impossibly bright, essentially brilliant, and highly frosty surfaces of this notable Superb Gem. Few coins of any type will ever reveal the dynamic cartwheel effects on display. The razor-sharp striking details on every feature are notable, as such, especially for a mintmarked Morgan dollar. There is certainly nothing that one could call an "abrasion", on either side, but a few scattered, wispy marks are evident on the reverse, using magnification, while the obverse seems blemish-free. For future identification, a small area of dark reddish-charcoal color is seen at the base of the eagle's breast.
