<B>1880-S $1 MS68 NGC.</B></I> The 1880-S Morgan dollar is one of the most common early issues in the immensely popular series, and examples are easy to obtain at grade levels all the way through MS67! Only at MS68 does this date finally become scarce. The current offering is a truly beautiful coin that appears to have been saved very early from either circulation or long-term bag storage, as unlikely as that seems. The piece comes about as close to being pristine as possible for a business strike silver dollar. Fully struck with a layer of light cloudiness over the fields and wonderfully clean devices.
