LOONEY TUNES (1929 - PRESENT) - Collection of Hand-Drawn Virgil Ross Model Sheet-Style Sketches - A collection of 13 model sheet-style sketches hand-drawn by renowned Looney Tunes cartoonist Virgil Ross. In addition to working with Chuck Jones on the Looney Tunes, Ross also worked on Jones and Ben Washam's Dr. Seuss adaptation How the Grinch Stole Christmas as well as various Warner Bros. Television and Hanna-Barbera productions over several decades.

Ross created these hand-drawn sketches in the style of model sheets depicting iconic Looney Tunes Seuss characters Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, K-9, Sylvester, Tweety Bird, Gossamer, Pepe Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, and Tasmanian Devil as well as The Grinch as personal illustrations. They are rendered in mixed media on drawing paper with Ross' signature handwritten along their bottoms. The collection exhibits minor smudging throughout. Dimensions: (each) 13.5" x 17" (34.5 cm x 43.25 cm)
