<B>1880-CC S$1 8 Over High 7 MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Jackson Hole. VAM-5. A Top 100 Variety. Nearly an entire 7 is visible under the second 8 in the date. While many 1880-CC dollars have a small dash under the 8, only VAM-4, 5, and 6 have most of the former 7 visible inside the 8. These three varieties are clearly the most desirable of the overdates. This piece is an exceptional Superb Gem with frosty silver luster and fully brilliant white surfaces. PCGS has certified five examples of this variety at the MS67 grade level, in addition to 24 examples that are unidentified by variety.
