<B>1880-CC $1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> This 1880-CC Morgan dollar displays a slanted top arrow feather, meaning that it is the Reverse of 1879 variety. While this variety is more plentiful than the 1880-CC with a parallel top arrow feather (Reverse of 1878), many surviving specimens are extensively bagmarked, making it difficult to locate an example with good eye appeal. The Premium Gem coin in this lot fits the bill. Its radiantly lustrous surfaces are refreshingly clean and smooth. Whispers of incipient light tan-gold color are slightly more noticeable on the reverse.
