<B>1880/79-CC $1 Reverse of 1878 MS65 NGC.</B></I> VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. Remains of an underlying 79 are visible in the last 8 and the 0 of the date. The reverse displays a parallel arrow feather. Whispers of reddish-patina gather at the margins of this attractive Gem, and a well executed strike lends strong definition to the design features, including the hair over Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers.
