<B>1880 3CN MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Streaky gold and lilac patina adorns this vibrant and impeccably preserved example. The second 8 in the date is widely recut. Business strike production of the three cent nickel had already begun to wane by the 1880s, although it enjoyed a brief one-year revival in 1881 before declining again.
