<B>1880 $3 MS65 NGC.</B></I> With a combination of intense mint frost and flashy semi-prooflikeness in the fields, this lovely Gem possesses a high degree of eye appeal. The lovely orange-gold, icy-gray, and sky-blue toning further enhances the overall beauty of the piece. The design elements are reproduced with great precision, showing mentionable weakness solely over the bowknot on the lower reverse. Only minuscule marks are found on either side of the coin. This issue had a low mintage of 1,000 business strikes, and survivors are scarce at the MS65 level of preservation.
